New ceramics collection, Sketching Landscapes

*To celebrate Earth Day we present our new collection, Sketching Landscapes: a signature collection of ceramic objects inspired by natural landscapes*

You know when you close your eyes and you get carried away to a dreamy natural landscape like a meadow, a sunset at the sea or an ocean of sand dunes?

This image is not totally focused but the shapes and colors from that landscape are completely defined on your mind. To create this collection we were inspired by those same landscapes we see when we close our eyes, places that are a shelter for us.

Colored clay recalls the contours of hillsides, rivers and stones, and with the combination of colors and shapes it creates an abstract yet identifying landscape, like the blurry images we see on our minds. Each piece is veiled with a natural landscape, of free interpretation.

All the colors are overlapped in a meticulous controlled way, never random or accidental, to ensure each piece has the same design. However, all of them are hand made so it’s impossible to reproduce them identically, that’s why each piece recreates its own unique landscape, especially for you.
