Their production process begins by filling the moulds with liquid clay. Then, the plaster works its magic absorbing the humidity and forming the perfect thickness for our pieces. Last but not least, each piece is deburred and we add all the handmade elements that create the unique faces of our Face cups.

They air dry and finally we sand all the pieces one by one and very carefully since they are super fragile in this stage. No shaky hands admitted because one unfortunate touch would

break them and we would have to start the process all over again!

The last steps involve air drying, firing in the kiln, dip glazing and back to the kiln!
